Views and design features
The card has one dual-link DVI, one single-link DVI, one HDMI and two mini display port connectors. It thus joins the tradition of Flex Edition cards, which have more ports than the standard design. The cutouts in the slot bezel for improved ventilation are also good to see.

Behind the plastic cover is the new Vapor-X cooling system, which was developed especially for this card. The two 90mm fans are also visible. The design visually blends in with the current Sapphire lineup and offers no real surprises.
Deviating from the reference design, Sapphire relies on its own 12-layer PCB, which was equipped with Black Diamond chokes and DirectFETs on both sides. The backplate is used to stabilize and cool the components on the back, but more about that later.
The card has two 8-PIN connectors for the power supply, which are also needed. The Sapphire lettering glows in the dark and thus offers quite a nice eye-catcher.

You can see it quite clearly in the side view: It gets tight with the slots, and you can almost consider this card a 3-slot solution. If you want to use something like this in CrossFire, you already need the right motherboard. View diagonally from the rear:
