Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 and RTX 2080 Ti in review – Gaming, Turing benchmarks and new insights

You don't really need geForce RTX 2080 or RTX 2080 Ti to enjoy The Witcher 3 at 2560×1440 with the ultra quality preset of the game. We're even happy with a GeForce GTX 1070 Ti in an older DirectX 11 title like this one.

The fact that The Witcher 3 is more than three years old should really be hidden, because is one of the most picturesque games in our suite. So far, we have kept the up to 66 FPS of the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti smooth enough for a pleasant experience. But the 43% power advantage of the RTX 2080 Ti gives an average frame rate of over 90 FPS. Ninety-nine percent of the time is spent over 60 FPS, so you can live really well with that. The RTX 2080 also leaves the GTX 1080 Ti well behind.
