Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 and RTX 2080 Ti in review – Gaming, Turing benchmarks and new insights

Despite its age, Grand Theft Auto V is still a bestseller on Steam. Unfortunately, the game doesn't benefit as much from more powerful graphics as from a faster CPU. The GeForce RTX 2080 Ti is ranked number one, but its lead over the Titan V is only 4%. Also the GeForce RTX 2080 can not really set itself off from the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti.

The switch to 4K and the deactivation of 4x MSAA does little to open the bottle neck for the graphics, because the RTX 2080 Ti is now almost 5% faster than the Titan V.

The GeForce RTX 2080 Ti's lead over the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti is growing a little more: while it was 7% faster at 2560 x 1440 pixels, the Turing-based flagship is 15% ahead at 3840 x 2160 pixels. But even that alone wouldn't be a real reason to go, if only this game were.
