Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 and RTX 2080 Ti in review – Gaming, Turing benchmarks and new insights

WQHD with 2560 x 1440 pixels

With the highest quality preset of Far Cry 5, the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti reaches almost 120 FPS at 2560×1440, 19% ahead of GeForce GTX 1080 Ti and at least just ahead of titan V. This is not very much, but rather disappointing, especially since the RTX 2080 can hardly stand out clearly from the GTX 1080 Ti.

Ultra HD with 3840 x 2160 pixels

This advantage of the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti over the GTX 1080 Ti doubles to 38% at 3840 x 2160 pixels. The GeForce RTX 2080 Ti averages more than 70 FPS, while its predecessor drops to just over 50 FPS. The positioning above the important FPS mark brings the new 2080 Ti its clear position as an uncompromising solution for UItra-HD. The GeForce RTX 2080 is now also failing, albeit only narrowly, at the 60 FPS mark. However, overclocked customs should be able to be just above that.
