The Sapphire Nitro+ Radeon RX 7900 XTX Vapor-X 24 GB is also faster in QHD than AMD’s reference card and the reference GeForce RTX 4080 FE used for comparison. The picture now first looks like AMD’s reference card can be clearly beaten by 4.1 percentage points, which should of course be due to the higher power limit and also the slightly better cooling. The GeForce RTX 4080 is already 4.8 percent behind. The P1 Low on the other hand is a different story. Thus, the Sapphire Nitro+ Radeon RX 7900 XTX Vapor-X 24 GB is only 2.7 percent ahead of the GeForce RTX 4080 FE. The reasons here are games with DXR, where the RDNA3 cards do not cut the very best figure.
But what about the power consumption? On average, the Sapphire Nitro+ Radeon RX 7900 XTX Vapor-X 24 GB is now clearly ahead, or rather behind in terms of efficiency. Almost 130 watts more than a GeForce RTX 4080 FE already have a slight crowbar feeling.
That brings us to WQHD and we want to see whether something changes in ultra HD. Turn the page once, please!
