Gaming Performance QHD
I first normalized and cumulated the results of 10 of the 11 games tested, which can give a first impression. Wolfenstein Youngblood is fairly excluded from the overall review because the AMD cards cannot handle the RT effects. We can already see from the accumulated FPS that the lead of both GeForce Radeon RTX 4090 over the other cards is immense and that the MSI RTX 4090 SUPRIM LIQUID X still performs a little faster than the NVIDIA RTX 4090 FE.
In QHD, it is at least 6 percentage points more performance, which results from the higher boost rates that are not only due to the higher power limit, but also the better cooling.
The P1 Low, i.e. the Min-FPS, also shows that this brute card should already be slowed down by the CPU, even though the Ryzen 9 7950X is currently one of the fastest CPUs available on the market in new test systems.
Gaming Performance Ultra-HD
The whole thing is then repeated in Ultra HD as well…
…even if the percentage lead is down to around four percentage points.
The P1 Low is also fully within the expected range according to the overall performance.
If you then use the image acceleration, not much changes at first, because the distances are still huge.
The MSI RTX 4090 SUPRIM LIQUID X is 4.5 percentage points ahead of the Founders Edition, which is not bad either.
Here, too, the P1 Low is within the average FPS performance with about four percentage points.
