Motherboard:
Probably a little "oversized" an MSI X370 Gaming Pro Carbon motherboard is used. With a cheaper B350/B450 motherboard, it could have saved about 25-30€ at this point, which could have been invested more sensibly elsewhere. Of course, the smaller boards would have been completely sufficient for the desired system. But I just had the MSI board at hand and it offers me a feature that might become interesting again in the course of this low-budget series: SLI Support.
Maybe I'll be able to see what you can do in 2020 with two older graphics cards in the SLI or Crossfire network. At least with the older titles, the current trend towards multi-GPU is clearly declining. The board itself comes with the typical X370 features and is visually pleased with its dark coolers and covers, as well as the extensive lighting. Although it does not afford rough carvers, there are no special features to emphasize.
