Autodesk Inventor 2021 Pro and InvMark
InvMark covers almost all areas of Inventor with its comprehensive benchmark and is a really good gauge of system performance. Let’s first look at the total score for all CPUs. The Core i5-12400 is 3 percentage points higher than the Ryzen 5 5600X result, which isn’t really much in total and is, if not the same, at least still similar. So that’s no way to hurt AMD.
Intel winning single thread performance is certainly no surprise. Still, it’s not a whole galaxy, it’s just a cosmic blink of an eye.
Multi-thread performance also goes to Intel, where the lead is now an ample 6 percentage points. Annihilation looks different, this is more blue-red group cuddling. Well, the E-cores are noticeably missing here if you look at the values of the Core i5-12600K. This is not only due to the higher clock rate.
Individual benchmarks of the InvMark
Again, we divide into very different application scenarios. And at least the Ryzen 5 5600X manages to win in 2 benchmarks, even if it is not enough for the overall victory. The bottom line is that both are then also approximately equally good or bad, depending on the viewpoint of the observer. With certain advantages for Intel.
