Comfort

Let’s first talk about the wearing comfort. I have to say that the E900 Pro ranks right behind my all-time favorite gaming headset, the HyperX Cloud 2. The ear pads are super soft while not being as “sticky” as other headsets with very soft “faux leather” pads. In addition, the interchangeable pads are also relatively roomy, so at no time did I notice any pressure on my ears or head. Because it was asked for in one of the last tests, I roughly measured the cushions in the present test:

However, considering the findings of the teardown, I immediately had to think of the Cougar headset that Igor took another look at after two years of intensive use, and I can’t shake the feeling that the EKSA would suffer a similar fate. Because one thing is certain: the softer such a thin material is, the more plasticizers it will contain. And what happens when these evaporate over time is something I would like to briefly remind you of once again. Here, everything also looked quite nice at first and was nice and soft..
