Conclusion
Before we get to the conclusion, a quick summary of the field test. The Engine 4 performed very well in all aspects. The connection (also multipoint) works smoothly, the sound is in my opinion on the highest level in this price range and even if the stated battery life is a bit optimistic, you can almost get through the entire workday even with activated LDAC mode. The microphone is once again only a “stopgap” solution, but this is not a call center headset. The only annoyance of this test was the unnecessary registration requirement of the smartphone app, whose installation is unfortunately unavoidable for the use of some functions.
At the risk of repeating myself and possibly offending one or the other well-known manufacturer, I again come to the same conclusion with the Engine 4 as I did with the other models: The price-performance ratio simply fits here!
Sound, feel and function leave hardly anything to be desired in view of the price and the new functions such as the multipoint connection are a successful upgrade to the previous models. Now please don’t lose focus and raise the price with every new model, SoundPeats.
If you want to get a taste of the world of true wireless in-ears without spending a fortune, you can’t go far wrong with SoundPeats’ Engine 4.
“The headphones were provided by SoundPeats for this review. The only condition was compliance with the lock-in period; there was no interference or compensation.”
