Summary and conclusion
I was a bit surprised by the results now, but I ran some tests again randomly and it came out within the normal variance an identical score. But check it out for yourselves:
Battle of the dwarfs: Mini-PC benchmark comparison and overview of all models tested so far
In the description on Amazon you can find the following sentence: “It runs faster than the AMD R7 5800U, AMD R5 5600U and i5-12450H processors”. But here, this mini PC can’t even beat the Beelink SEi Pro with an i5-11320H, which is practically the same CPU with a slightly lower clock.
I suspect the lack of performance can be explained by the difference in RAM. In the Beelink Mini-PC, 2x 8GB 3200Mhz are installed, while NiPoGi only uses 1x 16GB 2666Mhz. No dual-channel and then even slower, which is quite noticeable. In addition, the temperatures are still quite high under high load, 91°C at the peak is certainly not conducive.
With a price of currently around 450€, I can only advise against buying it and would rather recommend one of the recently tested systems with a Ryzen CPU. I have informed the manufacturer about my findings and will give an update here should there be a response to my feedback worth mentioning.
