Yesterday we reported on the Starship Mini-PC from Acemagic. Now Miniforum is following up with its new AtomMan X7 Mini-PC, which has a 4-inch display and makes a lot of things possible.
Let’s move on to the technical details of the Minisforum product. It comes with an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor 185H. This has a 16-core and 22-thread configuration. It has a maximum clock frequency of 5.1 GHz and a TDP of 65W. The GPU is an iGP implemented as Intel Arc Graphics. However, the image from Minisforum suggests that it can be connected to an external graphics card and could therefore achieve even better performance. According to this, a bandwidth of 64 Gbps is supported.

You can expect DDR5 Dual Channel modules with a maximum frequency of up to 5600 MHz and a maximum capacity of 64 GB. What about the storage? There will be 2 SSDs here. One M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 SSD and one M.2 2230 PCIe 4.0 SSD. Of course, if you need even more memory, you can also expand your memory with another SSD. It also supports Hello Windows, Fingerprint and Wifi 7 technology. The mini PC is cooled with a compact phase change cooling module. This is said to be characterized by its small size, high efficiency and long service life. The fans should not make much noise and this cooling is supported by 3 heat pipes. A stable 65 W output should be achieved, offering constant performance for gaming and creative work.

Further technical details can be found in the table.

But a special highlight is probably the 4″ touchscreen that is built in. Here you can have a practical overview of your entire PC. You can completely personalize the whole thing for yourself. This makes it possible to display the weather, CPU, GPU, RAM and SSD utilization or even how fast your fans are spinning. This is definitely practical for those who want to have an overview of everything at a glance. It will go on sale on May 20, but no specific price has been announced.
