Intel is currently being criticized for its 13th and 14th generation processors, which many are already aware of. However, the company has now introduced a new tool that allows you to delve further into the world of artificial intelligence. What exactly is this tool and what can it be used for?

The new tool from Intel is an AI tool with which users can generate their own images, improve or change images. This AI can also be used as a chatbot. Intel emphasizes that all these functions are stored locally on the PC. This means that data is not recorded or collected and remains on the respective user’s system. This should then allow the tool to be used without hesitation and without having to worry about third parties accessing the data and using it for other purposes. As it is an Intel product, the company also wants to offer a kind of exclusivity and for this reason the AI Playground from Intel is only compatible with Intel Core Ultra-H processors or Intel Arc dGPUs that have at least 8 GB vRAM. Processors from other manufacturers are not supported.
Intel states that the operation of its new AI Playground is relatively simple and can be used comfortably by any user. Advanced users can install their preferred models and make manual settings to configure AI Playground individually.
It is also interesting that users can contribute to this project themselves. AI Playground is open source and users or developers can clone, fork or further develop the project. The project is available on the GitHub platform if you would like to take a look at it yourself. Intel also invites you to a special Discord server to exchange ideas with other people and interact directly with Intel, for example to give feedback.
So that you can perhaps get an even better picture: In addition to the installation, Intel has also published videos so that you can get another taste and form an opinion.
