Benchmarks – OC
In overclocked operation at DDR5-7800 and tCL32, the G.Skill Trident Z5 kit can take the lead in all tests, with the exception of the latency-sensitive PyPrime and AIDA64 Latency tests, where the DDR4 kit still has a noticeable advantage. The previously leading Corsair kit is now put in its place, and the G.Skill modules share the top spots with our 7800 reference configuration. However, the G.Skill modules are demonstrably ahead in the benchmarks due to the slightly tighter timings, even if only by a hair’s breadth. 15600 points in the Geekbench 3 multi-core memory score are a real house number, especially on a 4-DIMM motherboard!
