Technical data

First the obligatory table

Features

Even though Glorious advertises the device with a lot of tinsel on its own website, they limit the given features to what they have and do not try to promise the blue of heaven with any marketing stunts.

Aluminum Top Frame

The thick cover plate milled from aluminum gives the keyboard high stability and maximum durability. The anodized surface is resistant to scratches and corrosion.

Doubleshot Keycaps

The keycaps, which consist of two layers, offer a good grip and cannot lose their surface like the cheap printed keycaps. The letters are razor-sharp and the transparency of the transparent layer is almost perfectly uniform.

Custom Compact Layout

Glorious has managed to fit 68 keys (including arrow keys) into the format of a 60% keyboard. The keys that are assigned twice via the Fn key have an imprint with the alternative assignment on the front of the key cap.

Glorious FOX Linear Switches

The transparent housing of the FOX Switches allows for bright illumination. Apart from the lower noise and the excellent lubrication, the key specs are strongly oriented towards the red Cherry MX switches, but are actually ahead of them due to the much smoother typing feel.

Vibrant RGB Lighting

18 predefined lighting profiles can be selected directly from the keyboard without the need for software. However, the Glorious Core app must be installed for an extensive per-key configuration.

5-Pin Hotswap Support

The switches can be easily replaced, even during operation. The board is compatible with all Cherry MX, Gateron, Kailh and Glorious switches with 5-pin socket.

Glorious (read full article...)
