It’s been quite a while since we last reviewed a cooler from Deepcool here, so let’s take a look at what they’ve been up to in the meantime! Last it was a colossal double tower, today an air cooler for the masses. In the following article, you can find out how the little one performs overall and in comparison to the competition.
For reference, here is the latest Deepcool cooler test:

Packaging and scope of delivery
We have probably moved away from the fully green cardboard boxes of the time; after all, paint is not cheap. The new plain white design shows the cooler itself on the front, following the accent stripes in the old familiar green to the back informs a multilingual description and table about the contents.
To prevent damage during transport, the cooler is generously padded with foam on the top and bottom.
Besides the obligatory manual, an Intel backplate, mounting frame and screws are included.
If you want to run the cooler with two fans, the matching fan clips are included. A tube of thermal paste is missing.
Assembly and installation
How could it be otherwise, the existing backplate of the motherboard is once again used for the AM4 socket. With four orange spacers, the frame is first brought into position and then fixed with four screws.
In order to be able to mount the cooler to the frame, the pre-installed fan has to be removed first. Then tighten two more spring-loaded screws and you’re ready to go.
Specifications
Here is an overview of the technical details and socket compatibility. More information can be found on the manufacturer’s product page.
