DEEPCOOL CH560 WH Mid-Tower in test – All-White DeepCool build ensures a white (and cold) Christmas even without snow

Construction diary

Because DeepCool also sent a cooler and a power supply unit for building a completely white system, I would of course like to briefly introduce these parts at this point.

AK 620 DIGITAL WH

Tim already introduced you to this behemoth of a CPU cooler yesterday. Its performance definitely has nothing to hide and this Behemoth is also visually appealing in white and with the display.

PX1000G WH

The white power supply is not only a visual treat, it has also received an exceptionally good rating from Aris in the form of the Cybenetics Platinum Award. With a full 1000W, ATX 3.0 and 80 Gold rating, the fully modular power supply leaves nothing to be desired.

Now we come to the exciting part of the test, the installation of the components. The following parts were installed in the CH560:

Because I always installed the CPU, RAM and NVME of the test system on the B550 board used, nothing had to be prepared in this respect. However, I preferred to mount the CPU cooler outside the case. I really like the mounting system!

When mounting on AM4 / AM5, the existing backplate is used and only the enclosed spacers are screwed on. It couldn’t be easier!

To access the screw connection of the radiator, the magnetic “display” must first be removed and the two fans removed:

Once all parts have been removed, the cooler is placed, screwed in place and the fans and display are reassembled in reverse order. The front fan can simply be clamped a little higher on the heat sink if the RAM is high (as in this example). With the TOUGHRAM used, the front fan is flush with the display. The advantage: The RAM was significantly cooler in the test than with the other AIOs used, which do not generate any airflow.

With the cooler installed, the board was then screwed into the case. The fear that I would break my fingers when plugging in the 8-PIN (CPU supply) was unfounded, but there is not much space in this position when using such a large cooler.

Installing the power supply unit in the CH560 is child’s play:

Although the power supply unit already has nice white cables and plugs, I didn’t let anything burn for this build and got nice white cable extensions. Even if the name suggests Chinese junk, I can’t say anything negative about the sets from Asia Horse considering the price.

The Radeon RX 7700XT Pure from Sapphire is also snow-white and fits seamlessly into the scenario.

I didn’t go to any trouble with the cable management to show that there is enough space to accommodate the cables without dents in the side panel, even when “tinkering”.

All side panels attached:

Test run!

PURE BASE 500DX WHITE.
