Aircooling Case Reviews

DEEPCOOL CH560 WH Mid-Tower in test – All-White DeepCool build ensures a white (and cold) Christmas even without snow

Unboxing Part 2

Now let’s take a look behind the scenes. The right-hand side panel is completely closed, no air intakes or anything similar.

Hidden underneath is the cable management and cable clutter caused by the pre-installed ARGB fans.

At the top is a compact ARGB controller, which enables independent control of the fan lighting. The modes are rather straightforward and unfortunately ALWAYS blink somehow, constant lighting in one color is not possible (at least I haven’t figured out how).

The CH560 also has thick felt feet on the bottom for the power supply unit to prevent scratches and reduce the transmission of vibrations.

There is just under 3 cm of space available for cable management in the middle “main aisle”, with a good 2 cm left at the “narrowest” corner at the very edge of the case. Not as comfortable as in an expensive BeQuiet! or Corsair case, but even when using cable extensions, there is enough space, as will be shown in the build report.

Two 2.5″ SSDs can be installed behind the mainboard. However, these are not screwed under the mainboard with screws, as is often mistakenly assumed, but are simply clicked into the rubber eyelets shown with the help of the enclosed fastening materials.

There is also an HDD cage at the bottom in front of the power supply unit, which can hold up to two 3.5″ HDDs.

The HDD cage can be moved in the appropriate direction in favor of a thick radiator in the front or a large power supply unit.

Finally, let’s take a look inside the main chamber of the case. The glass panel can be removed without tools. A screw can be screwed in here for (transportation) security.

As already mentioned at the beginning, only about 2/3 of the side panel is made of glass, the rest is mesh.

With a thickness of 4mm, the glass pane of the CH560 is one of the thicker representatives. The foam rubber seal can also be found here.

There is a fourth ARGB fan in the rear.

The slot bezels are all screwed on and do not have to be broken out first. There is no preparation for vertical mounting of the graphics card, but there are also no bars between the individual slots so that a universal bracket can be installed without sawing.

Always welcome: The centering spacer for convenient mounting of the mainboard.

There is over 7 cm of space for radiators at the front, so that AIOs in push-pull configuration or custom loops with thicker radiators can also be used.

There is not a lot of space under the lid, but thanks to the positioning of the fans/radiator mounts close to the side panel, there should be no collisions with the board or high RAM when using normal radiators (AIO) under the lid.

The two large cable outlets are fitted with thick white rubber grommets.

There is also a simple GPU holder on board, which prevents heavy graphics cards from sagging. I would like to see this little feature more often!

Finally, a picture of the included accessories:

PURE BASE 500DX WHITE.
