By popular demand, I’m catching up on some popular air coolers, and today it’s the turn of the AK620. In Deepcool’s range, it looks a bit like the second-born son, which is rather neglected in terms of marketing and advertising. But can the 65-euro cooler perhaps even steal the show from its favorite child, the Assassin IV? Let’s find out today!

DeepCool Assassin IV CPU Air Cooler Review – Kills not only the heat but also the competitors
Packaging and scope of delivery
As with this manufacturer, the box is rather plain and a kind of white sash is wrapped around the actual box.
In addition to the product image on the front, we also have a short multilingual description on the back, including a table listing the key data.
Inside, the cooler is sandwiched between two generous blocks of soft foam and is protected on the top by a small cardboard box.
This contains the accessories, which include the necessary mounting material as well as screwdrivers, thermal paste and Y-cables for the fans.
Assembly and installation
With my AM4 socket, the existing backplate of the mainboard is used, but the plastic parts on the front are replaced by metal spacers and crossbars from Deepcool.
The middle fan must then be removed before the cooler can be placed on the processor and screwed in place.
Specifications
Here are the technical details of this cooler, further information can be found on the manufacturer’s product page.
