Temperatures
To see the temperatures, I did a Cinebench R23 multi-core run, and then played Cyberpunk for 25 minutes. The CPU gets warm up to 94 degrees Celsius, but it doesn’t slow down. The GPU got 88 degrees warm. All in all, I have to say that it was surprising how well the Voyager did.
Volume
The Corsair Voyager is no exception when it comes to noise. The built-in cooling can keep the hardware in check, but this is at the expense of the ears. The 45 dB (A) can get really loud and annoying. You need a good headset – because the fans whistle the ducks off the pond!
But don’t worry, everything is fine in idle.
Webcam, microphone and speakers
Let’s start with the built-in loudspeakers. They are really outstanding for a laptop. Nothing scratches and they are also level stable. They offer a very differentiated sound, whereby especially the trebles and the mids are very distinctive. When it comes to bass, the speakers lack a bit of volume. But that’s physics and it can’t be screwed over. From my point of view, Corsair has done a very good job with the sound.
The built-in microphone naturally picks up background noise, but otherwise I don’t think it’s bad at all. In comparison, there’s the Corsair HS80 Wireless.

Corsair H80 via Slipstream
The webcam provides 1080p resolution at 30 Hz. To what extent this is now suitable for streaming is up to the streamers among you to judge. For meetings via Skype, teams, etc. quite usable. You also have to keep in mind that we are dealing with a mobile device here.
Someone could clean up again… The packaging of various monitors is piled up. KTC, Cooler Master, ASUS and LG – stay tuned.
External Monitor
I quickly connected the KTC M27P20P via USB-C for testing. The UHD resolution (3840 x 2160p @ 144 Hz) is no problem for the Corsair Voyager.
Playing in the external resolution? Yes, you can basically do that, but gambling in UHD with the installed hardware? I think a 1080p or 1440p monitor would be more appropriate here. For editing pictures or videos, an external UHD monitor is a good choice in any case. So you see, there is a lot in the Corsair Voyager. It’s best if I summarize the whole thing and come to today’s conclusion. Last page!
