I wonder when Corsair will launch its own car with Capellix RGB lighting. Even Corsair itself probably doesn’t know yet whether this will work electrically or with direct hydrogen combustion. But the guys and gals seem to be capable of anything. Since last year, there are also notebooks from Corsair and I’ll take a closer look at the current flagship today.
Corsair is going AMD “only”, as both the CPU and the dedicated GPU come from last year’s notebook lineup from AMD. The AMD Ryzen 9 6900HS with 8 cores and 16 threads as well as the Radeon RX 6800M form the basis of the currently 3,300 euro laptop. Let’s take a look at the packaging.
Unboxing
Besides the actual laptop, there is a bag as well as the power adapter and a cleaning cloth in the packaging. Of course, a few instruction leaflets shouldn’t be missing. Corsair mainly relies on cardboard packaging. I personally find this very good and ensures less waste in the yellow bag!

Voyager a1600
The Corsair Voyager is available in four different configurations, so it’s worth taking a look at Corsair’s site. Of course, Corsair sent me the most expensive one for testing. So here we go…
