Summary and conclusion
A good trend from the last Intel-equipped Mini-PCs continues here, CPU performance will certainly not be in short supply any time soon. Depending on the test, the Core Ultra 125H can be at the forefront, but also swallows a lot of power. Click here for the full overview:

In my opinion, however, the results of the GPU benchmarks are much more exciting. The integrated Intel Arc graphics unit can even achieve a surprise victory in Time Spy! In the other tests, it is always enough for one of the top places. I suspect that the quite different rankings are due to the degree of optimization for the respective engine. We have already seen something similar with the dedicated graphics cards from Intel.
But now to the F2A itself, I have nothing to criticize about the workmanship. Inside, too, there are only components from well-known manufacturers, no no-name. A scan with Windows Defender revealed no anomalies. During my tests with Aida64, the program crashed several times or tests were not completed. The latest beta version didn’t help either, but the error is more likely to be due to not yet fully developed support in Aida and not the system itself. For my taste, the hysteresis of the CPU cooler is set somewhat sensitively, unfortunately I have not found an adjustment option for this in the BIOS. The frequent short increases in speed quickly become annoying.
With the code “LFWSNB7I” there is a 10% discount at Amazon. This is a referral link, but I do not accept any commissions offered by the manufacturer. Neither I nor IgorsLab earn any money by using the voucher code provided.
In combination with the 288 euro coupon offered, you end up with a final price of 690 euros for the variant with 32GB DDR5 and 1TB SSD. A really high price, as comparable performance is also available for around 400 euros with an AMD 7735HS, for example. The AI features and acceleration thanks to the Intel NPUs are of course interesting here, but I don’t really see any practical applications for them at the moment. In theory, this system with its colorful mix of P-cores, E-cores and low-power E-cores would be an interesting basis for a home server in which the services can be distributed according to the performance requirements. And the AI NPU cores could be used for object recognition in surveillance cameras. Unfortunately, however, software support is (still) lacking in practice. Until then, the F2A remains a step in the right direction, but the goal has not yet been reached.
