NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070
Now it’s time to look at a game with ray tracing and DLSS 3. Now the GeForce RTX 4070 has to set itself really far apart from the two older cards. On the other hand, it would be pretty embarrassing. You can see how and with which settings I tested the GeForce RTX 4080 in the article.

The resolution is the only thing I changed for today’s test – delete 3840 x 2160p and put 3840 x 1600p. Of course, the two older cards can’t go back to Frame Generation. Too bad…
Yes, the resolution and the settings force the card to the limit. Since the game looks so good, you can also do without the RT shadows and, if necessary, ultra settings. Then you get even better frame rates if you want.
Yes, yes, the latencies. For a single-player title, that’s still possible. In the picture above, Reflex was on in both cases. With Frame Generation on, Reflex is automatically activated – but I already had that at the launch of the RTX 4090.
If you disable Frame Generation and Reflex, then Frame Generation and Reflex on already looks better. But also only in the constellation. If the latencies bother you, you can turn the settings down a notch and turn off DXR. Then DLSS without Frame Generation is easily enough to get high FPS in an ultrawide resolution out of an RTX 4070. The other two cards will have a much harder time now.
