Optics and haptics
According to the manufacturer, nothing has changed in the heatsink itself, even though a 2mm lower maximum height is now specified. Of course, the practical screwdriver must not be missing.
And there is also a reunion with the nickel-plated copper coldplate, albeit with some residue from production. However, wipe once with a cleaning cloth and the streaks disappear again.
The biggest difference then is the new Kaze Flex II 120 PWM fans, which offer a higher maximum speed without changing the minimum speed. The thicker 25mm fan is intended for the center, while the thinner Flex II Slim with 15mm comes to the front.
In the direct product comparison of the specifications, you can once again see that the concrete differences are really limited. The 2mm lower installation height probably comes from minimally shorter heatpipe ends on the top.
Otherwise, however, everything remains the same. The familiar asymmetrical design with fans running in different directions is used again in the Rev. B. According to the manufacturer, the “Dual Fan Reverse Airflow” is supposed to provide “higher static pressure as well as increased and consistent airflow.”
The special shape and elaborately curved heatpipes can be seen particularly well in the side view. Thanks to the short fan at the front, there should not be any space problems even with high RAM bars.
In order to give large voltage converter coolers of the motherboard enough space for free development, the rear part of the Fuma 2 is “cut off”.
