In November 2020, our site (finally) published a review of the then already widely known as a good recommendation Fuma 2, now Scythe wants to follow up on the success again three years after release and launches a new iteration. What exactly has changed, how it turns out in a direct comparison of the cooling performance and more you can read in the following article.
You can find the article about the first Fuma 2 here:

Packaging and scope of delivery
At first glance, nothing has changed in the original packaging, but if you look a bit closer, there are a few small differences. Apart from the darker design, a few images and schemes have been moved or replaced.
The inside of the box, that is, the transport protection in the form of even more cardboard, has been retained. So apart from sparsely used foam, everything is recyclable, very good!
Only subtleties have changed in the included accessories, such as the support for sockets that have appeared in the meantime. In addition to mounting brackets and several fan clips, a generous tube of thermal paste, 4-pin PWM fan splitter and small screwdriver are included (not pictured here). The Intel backplate is already prepared at the factory, screws and plastic fixings have already been attached.
Assembly and installation
For the AM4 socket, the two plastic brackets on the front of the motherboard have to be removed first, the backplate may remain. Four spacers are then placed on the screw holes, the two matching brackets are secured with four screws, and then the cooler is placed on the processor. The enclosed screwdriver can then be used to screw the two spring-loaded screws on the radiator into the bracket.
The manufacturer calls it Hyper Precision Mounting System IV (H.P.M.S. IV), I call it cumbersome. If you do not glue the backplate tightly, it is actually not possible to mount it without a third arm in an existing system. If the mainboard is not yet installed, it is best to mount the cooler with the board lying down. Especially for the AM4 socket, the competition has come up with simpler mounting mechanisms.
Specifications
Below is an overview of the technical details of this cooler, more information can be found on the product page from the manufacturer itself. There is also a very different side for the USA, at least visually.
