Summary and conclusion
In terms of performance, there were no surprises now. The mobile Ryzen 5 5000s are far from being old hat, but they have simply been overtaken in the meantime. This is of course reflected in the performance ranking:
Kampf der Zwerge: Mini-PC Benchmark im Vergleich und Übersicht aller bisher getesteten Modelle
And depending on the benchmark, one is then sometimes closer or further behind the similar Ryzen 5560U from one of the already tested mini-PCs from Beelink. This refresh within a generation has tickled out a bit more performance.
NiPoGi, or rather the OEM Cyxtech, actually offers a very nice overall package. Power supply via USB Type-C, double LAN ports and even 2.5GbE via an Intel I226-V chip or the diversity of display ports are welcome features. Even small details like a seal around the fan’s outlet to prevent warm air from flowing back have been considered. However, I would have preferred to see a well-known brand especially for the SSD storage.

In this country, the Beelink model with a 5560U is currently no longer in stock, but the SER5 with 5500U is. In terms of price, it is exactly on par with the NiPoGi AM06 Pro at around 340€, but objectively offers a poorer selection of external ports. However, it has to be mentioned as a plus point for the Beelink Mini-PC that the RAM and SSD come from well-known manufacturers like Crucial and Kingston. So, it is up to you what is more important now.
Update:
They seem to have heard the criticism of the price and sent us the discount code IGORSLAB37. At currently 429.99€ – 90.00€ coupon – 21.50€ voucher you end up with a final price of 318.49€.
