Summary and conclusion
Depending on the benchmark, this mini PC can take first place or at least play at the top. As you would expect from an i9 processor. You can find the complete overview here:
Battle of the dwarfs: Mini-PC benchmark comparison and overview of all models tested so far
But when it comes to graphics performance, the modern APUs from AMD are far ahead. The IT13’s really impressive compute and SSD performance doesn’t help here. Apart from the short peak phase with 85 watts of power consumption, the i9-13900H is quite economical and doesn’t have much in common with the thirsty desktop variants.
With the code “igorslab40” there is a 40€ discount at the manufacturer’s store, the same applies to the 5% voucher “igorslabIT13” at Amazon. This is a referral link, but I have expressly declined any commission offered. I or IgorsLab do not earn any money by using the voucher codes.
At the time of testing, this mini PC in the configuration with 32GB RAM and 2TB SSD costs €749, which currently also includes a 10-in-1 USB-C hub worth €39 free of charge. A lot of money for a lot of performance, but the slightly faster offers with Ryzen processors currently seem more attractive to me. Comparable CPU performance with better graphics acceleration push the Intel chip to the sidelines. I think the IT13 would benefit from being sold as a real barebone without RAM and SSD. You can then buy them yourself as required, not everyone needs so much RAM and storage space.
