Test prints
As I mentioned at the beginning, I won’t go into detail here about everything that has already been tested in the test report for the smaller version. I have also tried a few of the test objects with this printer, and unsurprisingly the results are practically identical with the same extruder setup. Thanks to the Input Shaper sensors, the high oscillating mass of the large print bed is not noticeable.

The really interesting thing about this printer is the gigantic print bed and the ability to print equally large objects. And since I’ve been toying with a multifunctional “drawer” base for my P1S for a while now, I jumped at the opportunity.
With super-cheap AliExpress filament, the expense wasn’t too bad for me either. And thanks to the large print volume, you can simply order several parts instead of just one and leave the printer to its own devices for a day.
Perhaps it’s also due to the matt PLA filament, but repeating artifacts are clearly visible, especially on large surfaces.
But the result is really great, isn’t it? More on this in a moment ..
You don’t get a 19″ rack mount on every 3D printer, so we took the opportunity to use it straight away.
Unfortunately, some post-processing was necessary to get rid of the stringing. Also, the side on the print surface didn’t print quite cleanly.
What, that’s it already? No cool gadgets or useful everyday helpers as usual at this point? I’ll explain why in the conclusion on the next page.
