Summary and conclusion
So, in the grand scheme of things, what we have here is really just another variant of the already tested SER6 from Beelink. Practically identical performance, but no wonder considering the hardware requirements compared at the beginning. AMD has simply done their well-known rebranding from previous generations to the current one.
Battle of the dwarfs: Mini-PC benchmark comparison and overview of all models tested so far
However, there was one change: Instead of 2x HDMI, this mini-PC has 1x Displayport + 1 HDMI! Interestingly, the product page says that the configuration depends on the color. The option“Dark Green(Dual HDMI)” and “Dark Grey(DP+HDMI)” can be selected there. According to my package I got Dark Green, but still my model has a Displayport. However, when I look at the color, the labeling on the box could very well be wrong, because nothing is particularly greenish here.
Amazon lists the model with 7735HS, 32GB DDR5 RAM and a 512GB NVMe 4.0 SSD for just under 590€ with shipping from Germany. If you need a lot of performance in a small space and relatively low consumption, this is a good offer in the small niche of mini-PCs. You also have to keep in mind that you get a good 70% of the performance of a Threadripper 1950X with a CPU power consumption of 35-40 watts. Impressive what has happened in the last year. I hope that a real Ryzen 7000 CPU will find its way into such a small computer!
