Conclusion
The conclusion about the Kone XP is probably quite one-sided, because it did not show any notable weak points in the test. The looks are great, the build is convincing and the practical test confirmed great ergonomics and a decent feature set.
You could criticize the mouse for not supporting gestures and not being adjustable in weight, but that depends on the direction of the feature set. Instead of gestures, the Kone XP offers many buttons, which is certainly more valuable for MMO games. Tuning weights are a good option for individualization, but they are not absolutely necessary if the mouse’s balance is already excellent.
If I were to exclusively play fast shooters, I would personally tend towards the Corsair M65 RGB Ultra, which is unfortunately no longer available, since it has a slightly better sensor. However, the Kone XP’s many buttons and good ergonomics are extremely practical for everyday and productive use, and I was so impressed by the looks that I can hardly take my eyes off the mouse. The hands do, you have to eat something sometimes.
