Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2
Yes, I’m well aware that I had the game on my mind as soon as the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 launched. This is where I noticed that Radeon Anti-Lag was not working. However, at launch of the RTX 4070, I had only made a static recording over a few seconds to look at the scaling of DLSS or FSR. So I wanted to take another look at that. I take it at the place times ahead. I have checked all measurements several times for plausibility. I also did not mix up the measured values during the evaluation. Furthermore, the anti-lag problem now prevails in total over all tested resolutions.

As always, I only adjust the resolution, and add DLSS and FSR in the Quality and Performance levels. I test everything with and without Reflex/Anti-Lag. Let’s go…
Average FPS and latencies
The two cards are surprisingly close here. The better memory connection of the RTX 3070 Ti (256 bit) as well as the higher throughput – thanks to the 19 bps GDDR6X – don’t let the RX 6700 XT (192 bit; 16 bps) run away “yet” here. That will come later…
NVIDIA Reflex simply works, and brings something. Radeon Anti-Lag unfortunately does not. So far I haven’t received any feedback from AMD. The question of why – remains open for now.
