Cooling GPUs Graphics Practice Pro Reviews Watercooling Workstations

Nvidia Quadro RTX 6000 Water Cooled – more boost and performance through modification even without manual overclocking

DirectX and OpenGL

For these measurements I simply use SPECviewperf as an example this time, because the effort for the license transfer of the full programs seemed to me to be exaggerated. Because in the end it’s all about the performance increase to the not overclocked card and not about driver cheats of the red or green software developers. So the statement is the same. With 105 to 120 MHz more clock (in rare cases even 150 MHz more), the Quadro RTX 6000 with water cooling clocks up to well over 1900 MHz, which is quite effective for the benchmarks. Because you gain between 4.8 and almost 6 percent more performance on average. This is by no means a mere cardboard handle, but real added value.

Rendering / Compute

In principle, what has already been said is true, because here, too, the performance is over 5 to even a good 6 percent higher. The longer the GPU has to work in full-load mode, the greater the temperature difference and thus also the clock speed difference. The power consumption even drops slightly and the GPU has more power available, because about 12 watts for the now no longer necessary fan can be distributed elsewhere. The power limit of 260 watts applies to the entire card.
