in 2002 I started my apprenticeship, had a lot to do with copper and got various skills for copper processing. In 2004 I started to build my first watercooler which I presented on Easy-mod.de at that time. The cooler got the name Al_Vis V1.
At that time there was still a platform which tested water coolers on a test bench for performance: Watercoolplanet.de. There I sent in the cooler which had also not performed badly. With the Al_Vis 1.4 I have built a cooler that has made it to 2nd place in the rankings. These were coolers that were built only with a Dremel, drill and file. More coolers and reports in the forum followed and I got requests to rebuild. That’s when it all started. I bought a HBM BF 20 Vario from my education money and earned some pocket money until I saved up a kit for the CNC.
For the conversion to CNC I had support from the forum of Peters-CNC Ecke. When the conversion was finally finished, much more complex structures could be made.
When my education was over, the state transferred me to the civil service, where I had prepared everything for the company foundation in 2008. In the summer of 2008 I finally had some help from a forum member in CAD and CFD/FEM simulations. That’s how the Narrowline CPU Cooler and the company foundation under the label Liquid Extasy was born.
In 2009 Liquid Extasy became a supplier for Aquatuning who helped to bring the coolers to the people. The first water coolers for graphics cards were also developed and sold through the online store. For example for the Nvidia GTX 285
Since milling took too long for me, I removed the original spindle of the milling machine and exchanged it for a Kress router. From then on, higher feed rates were possible.
Soon more coolers followed, for example for the Asus P5Q and Nvidias 8800GTX
in 2010 I changed the cooling structures for GPU coolers. -> HD 5870 water cooler. The cooler was made in cooperation with PC-Masters. In the meantime the interest was huge. I as a one-man team had released the most water coolers ever/year. Even the big ones like Aquacomputer and Watercool couldn’t keep up. 2010 was also the year I developed my first console water cooler. The Playstation 3 water cooler.
