Another OLED monitor from LG wants to be tested. Most will already know the panel from the Corsair Xeneon Flex. The two share the genes. The WOLED panel comes from LG displays and measures 45 inches diagonally and is 800R curved. Unfortunately, the display only comes with a resolution of 3440 x 1440p at 240 Hz refresh rate. Personally, I would have preferred the 3840 x 1600p resolution.
The 1440p ultrawide resolution thus only comes with a pixel density of 84 ppi. Some readers will probably switch off again at this point. From my point of view, however, it’s not even that bad. Or in other words, it depends a bit on the seating distance. The subpixel layout RWBG should also be known. It brings its problems with it – text readability. But more about that later.
The monitor is well packaged and set up in no time. As for the technical details, I have summarized the essentials for you. Everything else can be found on LG’s website. Click here!
