We recently reviewed Lian Li’s visually quite plain, but very powerful Trinity Performance complete water cooler, and now the significantly flashier alternative has to prove itself. A small screen in the system is not to everyone’s taste, but is a good cooler hidden behind the pixels?
Here you can catch up on the last review of a Lian Li water cooling system:
Packaging and scope of delivery
A fully printed box with dark patterns protects the contents in transit, the blue color accents on the edges we already know from the last cooler of this manufacturer.
The front and back cover naturally focus on the highlight of this AiO water cooler. However, additional text on the narrow sides also lists the general specifications.
Again, a cardboard shell extends the protection factor from shocks, some plastic bags were then wrapped around the pump block, hoses and radiator.
The accessories include the various cables for connecting the display and RGB lighting, a few fabric cable ties and obligatory mounting materials for the various sockets then round off the whole thing.
Mounting and installation
For the AM4 socket, the existing backplate of the motherboard is reused, but the plastic brackets on the front are replaced by larger parts with integrated screws
The pump head is then simply placed on these, fixed with four thumbscrews and the cabling can begin. The fans support daisy-chain, so they are all interconnected and only one cable needs to be connected.
Specifications
Below are the technical details in overview, further key data can be found on the product page from the manufacturer.
