Display latency
I had hoped for more or less here. But 4.2 ms is still ok. Especially since the input lag now only increases by another 0.1 ms (response time). This makes the KTC G42P5 the fastest monitor in terms of pixel response time and input lag that I’ve had on test here so far. The MSI Raider was not measurable due to the issue of pulse-width modulation (480 Hz “flickering”).

Yes, such an OLED panel is damn fast. You also notice that when you gamble. Interestingly, the motion clarity (UFO test) of the KTC at 138 Hz is on the same level as that of the MSI MEG381CQR+ at 175 Hz. Why is that? Because the pixel response time is an essential part of that. However, the most important factor is clearly the frame rate. In other words, an OLED panel gets by – in terms of image clarity and responsiveness – with less refresh rate than an LCD panel. A 27 inch or a 34 inch Ultrawide OLED with 240 or even 360 Hz will be insane!
