Gaming benchmarks
First of all: Almost all games were tested in 1080p/ultra and 1440p/high. If the games had a built-in benchmark, it was used to shortcut the test time.
I included some RTX benchmarks as well, though ray tracing is not useful without the use of DLSS on the 2060 Super.
Conclusion
Granted, buying an RTX 2060 Super for $400, which is the price it cost new two years ago when it was on the shelf with a full warranty, is extremely unattractive. I can’t recommend it with a clear conscience either, which is why I’m certainly not going to make a purchase recommendation at this point. If the card would cost half, it would be a different story, but currently I strongly advise to hold out and not support the price gouging.
Overall, though, you can see from the benchmarks that you can play quite comfortably in 1080p at the highest settings with this sub $1000 build, and even 1440p gaming is possible with minor sacrifices.
The basis of the system definitely has a lot of potential! With an RTX 3060 Ti at the regular MSRP ($399), the system would be well equipped for anything high-profile gaming these days.
