Software
The aptly named “Endory Wired Keyboard Software” added a bit of ease of use to the existing key functions in the program. However, things like the partly poor legibility due to the really unfortunate color choice and various Chinese(?) characters tarnish the overall impression permanently. Blue background with blue selection bar, which then has a strange shadow as a border?
Fixed settings remain saved, so fortunately the whole thing doesn’t have to go into the autostart. As someone who has had to deal with SilentiumPC/Endorfy a few times, I am really surprised by the slightly bumbling implementation. Previous experiences with this manufacturer were actually significantly more rounded than what is now presented here.
Summary and conclusion
At this point, I could practically repeat 1:1 what I already wrote about the last keyboard with pudding keycaps from this manufacturer. If you don’t know the test report, you can catch up here:

Unfortunately, the render images of the Endorfy Thock are also absolutely misleading and the actual result in reality is much weaker. The comparison pictures in my photobox and on the desk were taken at minimum brightness in the room and maximum brightness of the keyboard.
So let’s simply compare what is suggested by the product pictures and what finally ends up on the desk. It is particularly annoying that the side facing the user is the one that is poorly illuminated.
Need I say much more about this? A single LED deep around the case and only on the upper side of the switch is simply not enough.
Ifyou then put theHyperX Alloy Elite 2 into the pictureagain , the dimly lit tragedy becomes really clear.
With the appropriate placement and brightness of the LEDs, it is obviously possible to illuminate the “pudding” evenly and sufficiently all around.
If the Endorfy Thock is used more in the evening or in a dark room, this problem will be much more noticeable. But even in normal daylight, the RGB lighting becomes almost invisible and the promised colorful pudding turns into gray-white gravel. Combined with the scratchy switches, I can’t give a recommendation here; the missed opportunity for improvement will perhaps be made up for in the next version.
Unfortunately, the HyperX Alloy Elite 2 has risen significantly in price since the beginning of the year. From less than 80€ to almost 130€, so I don’t know of any comparable alternative with “working” pudding keycaps.
The test sample was provided by Endorfy without obligation. There was and is no influence on the tests and results. Therewas also no compensation for expenses and no obligation to publish.
