I had actually hoped for a “Redemption Arc” today, but unfortunately it won’t really be anything. It’s been a good 1.5 years and back then the brand was still known as SPCGear, so they had enough time to do their homework. But first things first, let’s take a closer look at the keyboard in the following review.
Packaging and scope of delivery
I have the combination of Thock Pudding and the optional palm rest for testing. Theformer comes in a fully printed cardboard box and proudly presents the supposed appearance of the contents, more on that later.
The palm rest, on the other hand, is much more plainly packaged, but both provide multilingual information about the contents on the back.
Theinternal transport protection is similar, a multi-fold cardboard absorbs shocks and a lightly cushioning one is wrapped around the respective part.
The combined accessories are manageable, but not much is needed for a keyboard. By the way, I have omitted the keycap pully on the underside of the keyboard in the picture.
Theshort manual and the fabric-covered USB cable with a length of 1.8 meters come from the keyboard, the small parts in the middle from the tray.
