At this point, a small insertion, because CORSAIR had also sent me one of the available extensions in the form of the “Desk Extensions & Peg Board” as part of the review.
This includes, as already mentioned on page 2, two 30cm extensions for the desk top.
And two perforated plates, as known from workshops and stores.
Unfortunately, I can not use the extensions in practice, because otherwise I would have to saw apart from the already sacrificed refrigerator also my other desk. However, as part of the review, I wanted to show the assembly at least once. The extensions and also the peg boards can each be attached to the right and left side of the desk top. The assembly is analogous to that on the support rail above:
The extensions seem very sturdy and did not break off when I placed my Behemoth of a system (CORSAIR 7000D Airflow with Custom Loop) on them.
As an alternative to the extensions, perforated plates can also be attached. Here, too, the mounting is done via the groove stones.
And at this point I got the urge to tinker. The perforated plates should be mountable everywhere, where you can clamp the pegs, thanks to the peg system. And lo and behold, the small peg boards can also be attached to the rear support rail!
For the test setup, only one monitor should be used.
The cable management is really a dream with this table!
At the end of the day, only one power and one network cable, wrapped in a flexible mesh tube, go to the table. All other cables are hidden and thus nothing stands in the way of height adjustment.
Test run!
