Interior structure
After removing the four screws on the bottom of the system, the base plate can already be taken out. Connected to this is the bracket for a 2.5″ SSD or HDD, be careful when removing the connection cable!
The available cooling potential is fully utilized, the NVMe SSD is connected to the 2.5″ bracket via a thick thermal pad. I was a bit surprised to find an Intel 660p NVMe SSD here, since OEM SSDs have always been installed in the last few systems.
A Mediatek MT7921K card sits underneath the SSD, which is responsible for Wifi6E and Bluetooth 5.2. My test sample was equipped with a proud 32GB of RAM, a 2x 16GB 3200Mhz CL22 kit from Crucial / Micron was installed.
The exact designation is CT16G4SFS832A.C8FE. A maximum of up to 64GB is possible according to the system’s spec sheet.
And here you can still discover some differences to the SER3, the top of the case has changed and the cooler has also been enlarged. It also has significantly more fan blades.
