Conclusion
Now we come to the longed-for conclusion. Can the C1 convince and establish itself directly on the market as the first work of the young APNX brand? the answer must be “yes” and “no”. Visually, I like the case very much, but that is of course a matter of taste. The materials used and the feel are also mostly suitable – that does not look as rosy as here in many first link works.
What should not go unmentioned, however, is the fact that some of the good ideas were not thought through to the end and even questionable decisions were made in some places. Some of the cable grommets are unusable or kink cables when using the side cover, simple slotted holes (lid and front) would have led to a much more flexible positioning of the radiators, the visually outstanding fans are simply too loud for the majority of the target group and the slot covers and screws are of a material quality that simply should not occur in such a priced case.
The case looks very good on the desk and those who can live with somewhat louder fans (or would replace them anyway) could be quite happy with the C1. However, the price tag for this version of the case is a bit too ambitious for a recommendation or an award. Overall, the brand has a lot of potential and enthusiasm and I’m sure that with small improvements and ideas that have been thought through to the end, really good cases can be created.
