Features: 3DMark TimeSpy
The CPU test of TimeSpy and TimeSpy Extreme allows the maximum gross power of a CPU to be calculated while physically calculating scenes from a video game correctly. It is therefore perfectly designed for multithreading, but does not represent the real capabilities of a CPU in a real video game. There are many more simultaneous activities taking place here – but often with a less well-functioning multithreading. So we see the best possible conditions, not the daily performance.
With H.265 encoding – again we see almost perfect multithreading – we also logically find a performance hierarchy that is very similar to the values of the previous page. The Core i9-9900K moves much closer to the Ryzen 9 3900X in the normal test, but is surpassed in the extreme test. However, the Ryzen 7 3700X again cannot beat the Core i9-9900K and ranks third.
