AMD Ryzen 3900X and 3700X review | igor'sLAB

RAM bandwidth
First, let's explore the practical possibilities of the new "chiplet" structure of the Ryzen 3900X and 3700X. DRAM bandwidth performance (under AIDA64) achieves excellent values on the 3900X and exceeds Intel CPUs in all areas: reading, writing, and copying. I decided to test all CPUs in the test field with fast DDR4-3600 CL16 RAM, especially since this frequency is indicated by AMD itself as the optimal frequency.

On the other hand, the 3700X is worrying me about the DRAM writing test, where it is only half as efficient as it should be. When copying, the processor shows good values and is superior to intel CPUs. It is quite possible that the measurement software AIDA64 on the 3700X is still running incorrectly and will achieve better results with future versions or newer AMD chipset drivers.
