Today, as announced, we are still testing the LT variant of the Eisbaer Aurora HPE, which offers a different design of the pump block. Thus, the flat form factor is more in line with what you are used to with a complete water cooling system. The rest of the features like the new copper radiator and fan remain with us. So let’s see if and what difference the other setup makes.
This article is very similar to the previous one, which can be read here:

Packaging and scope of delivery
The familiar portrait-format cardboard box also protects this water cooler during transport, but sets itself apart from the full black printed packaging of the normal version with a white design. The smaller pump block is proudly presented at the front, the back is then shared by a picture of the fans, the radiator and the specifications.
The additional protective casing made of dense cardboard inside the box is identical to the normal HPE and offers quite a bit of resistance to impacts during transport.
The accessories are as extensive as they are small. Once we have the obligatory mounting material for all current sockets, an ARGB controller with knobs, 3 fan Y-cable as well as a tube of “Subzero” thermal paste. An adapter for the proprietary RGB connector is also included.
Having all the necessary brackets and screws in separate bags each with labeling is of course immensely helpful with this many small parts, but I would still prefer to see fewer plastic bags overall.
Assembly and installation
This water cooler once again relies on the backplate included with the motherboard for the AM4 socket. In addition, there are all the small parts mentioned, the following graphic shows the scope of this undertaking:
After everything is prepared, you still need to tighten the four screws crosswise. By the way, you should not be deceived by the size of the included tube of thermal paste, it is not completely filled. The content is enough for about two times use, possibly three if applied very sparingly. It is also somewhat tougher than, for example, the well-known MX-4 paste.
Specifications
Here is the overview of the technical details of the pump and fan, more information and a complete data sheet can be found on the product page at the manufacturer.
