Today is Christmas and we don’t spill the beans – we make a killing. Actually, there is only a boring case review with cheap hardware that everyone knows. Wait and see: Because you can always find true price-performance winners at Sharkoon, such as the Sharkoon Light² 200, the PureWriter RGB, the SGH50 and much more. And as I was browsing Sharkoon’s site, the Sharkoon REV300 jumped out at me. A mirrored case with the mainboard turned by 90 degrees? So I thought to myself, always only graphics cards regarding upscaling and latencies as well as monitors: It’s boring!
So I was overcome with the idea that I should take a closer look at the case. But looking at an empty case, I could have posted a link to the page from the Sharkoon homepage here. If then already correctly. So I just checked my test and private stock to see if I have all the components for a cool gaming PC in stock. There’s something going on, but more on that later.
Let’s get started with today’s test object. The Sharkoon REV300 that you can currently buy for about 150 Euros. The RRP is 169 Euros. Sounds like a lot at first, but you really get your money’s worth. Sharkoon sent me the REV300 and the matching vertical kit – with PCIe 4.0 riser cable – (costs another almost 50 Euros) for testing without further ado. To my surprise, an 850 watt power supply was also included, which then fits perfectly into the later overall package. (Note: The 850 Watt Silent Storm is EOP and the successor will be available soon)

The fact alone that you get 3x 140 mm aRGB fans and 4x 120 mm aRGB fans pre-installed for the price is quite an announcement. But, there is more… Let’s see on the next page.
