Gallery and conclusion
Basically, Sharkoon also seems to swing the price-performance hammer when it comes to cases. The build quality and material feel of the TK5m are decent. With four nice, but borderline loud RGB fans, heaps of dust filters and a USB Type-C port, it is above average for its price range.
The installation of the components went smoothly considering the limited space, although the space for cable management unfortunately fell a bit by the wayside. Personally, I like the slightly wider case much better than the flared side panel, which can be difficult to install in the end.
The airflow and the measured temperatures were consistently pleasing. There were no complaints except for the lack of a control option for the installed fans. A small fan controller, preferably with a SATA port for sufficient performance, would have been a better solution here.
At the end of the day, I think the TK5m is aimed more at the younger generation, for whom blinky-blinky and function are paramount. At least, I see this case most likely on the desk of a teenager who is happy about the colorful fans and the low temperatures of his graphics card while he invests a few V-Bucks in new skins. Hopefully with a Sharkoon SGH50 on top to drown out the loud fans.
