I think most people are familiar with NZXT’s AiO water coolers, the Kraken series being a popular choice among RGB enthusiasts. After expanding the product range in terms of peripherals, we’re going back to the roots today. At least in the category, because NZXT has not yet had an air cooler like the T120. In the following article, we will test whether it also cools well in addition to looking good.

Packaging and scope of delivery
The cooler comes in a mostly untreated brown cardboard box. The only splash of color is – of course – the company name.
Inside, the delicate slats are protected by two blocks of rigid foam during transport.
The accessories do not contain any surprises, just the usual small parts for mounting the cooler.
A nice feature, however, are the two strips of double-sided tape that hold the backplate in place. Another set of retaining clips for a second fan are also included, and the small tube of thermal paste is not labeled further.
Assembly and installation
As is so often the case, the existing bracket of the AM4 socket has to give way, but the backplate may remain. Since the pre-assembled brackets are for the current Intel socket, they first have to be exchanged for the matching parts for AMD. Then fix the cooler in place with four spacers and four screws.
The installation of the cooler is, due to the many individual parts, a bit fiddly. If you can put the computer on its side or if the mainboard has not been installed yet, the whole thing is definitely easier to handle.
Specifications
The following is an overview of the technical details, more information is then available on the Product page at the manufacturer.
