NZXT CAM Software
I first introduced the software as part of the FUNCTION 2 review, so here’s just a quick run-through of the introduction and then just a brief look at the specific settings for the mouse.
The resources used have obviously not changed much – the installer is only a few hundred KB, the installed program takes up about 450 MB on the hard disk. Eight running processes and just under 400 MB of RAM are now almost standard with the increasingly extensive RGB bloatware.
In the start view, CAM first shows the user the PC monitoring.
As all the system information is not really related to the mouse settings, I will leave it at this point for now.
However, the mouse settings themselves are really very clearly laid out and you can actually find all the settings in one menu. From setting the DPI increments to rearranging the four programmable buttons, everything is available at a glance.
A different input screen is only displayed for recording macros, but this is also self-explanatory.
Overall, the software ran very stably for me and I was always able to find the desired settings. However, the high system load could still be improved.
