NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Founders Edition Review: Between Value and Decadence – When Price is Not Everything

Let’s start with the FPS values in connection with the 1% low FPS, i.e. the observation of the percentiles (which I will later present as a curve over the entire bandwidth) in the worst case, since min FPS itself does not say anything, What the GeForce RTX 3090 FE delivers here is still extreme even on Ultra-HD and is occasionally even limited by the CPU. That’s why I completely give up the lower resolutions with this card, because the limits of the base are simply too big. I have listed all the bar charts of all 10 games one below the other, so you can get a good impression.

RTX On is a thing of its own. The increase is rather modest but measurable, whereby it depends almost exclusively on the RT cores. If you are honest, this is also a considerable increase, but not a real sensation. If it is possible to use the possibilities of RTX in games a little more purposefully and not to produce a graphic demo for the ego, then in combination with DLSS of course higher resolutions are suddenly well playable. The reflections in Wolfenstein Youngblood are of course a commendable approach, while in Metro there is a crysis-feeling to be found again in some places. But: it looks damn good. Especially at night and near water.
